To arrange meetings at a time and place most suitable to interested Registered Childminders – ensuring that the meetings cover differing areas to make sure that wherever possible at least one meeting per year can be classed as 'local'. To offer support to all Registered Childminders throughout the City and County To provide a network of advice, information and support to Registered Childminders via the Association's committee members, the NCMA and other agencies Promote and maintain high standards of Childminding by developing and promoting training opportunities and best practice Raise the profile of Childminding through good publicity, information days and displays Provide a newsletter – through email wherever possible – as a link to keep all Registered Childminders up to date with available training and recent developments The Committee will consult with Childminders across the City and County to ascertain their needs and offer services Hold an AGM to include a conference and workshops To make Childminders aware of information available on this website
